Egg Sandwich? #100WCGU week 59

It was a cold day but the sky was a brilliant blue and the view across the cliffs was clear. With the heater turned to full in their little camper van Barbara and Eric watched the man in the red coat as he shuffled ever closer to the edge. They grew impatient as he sat for what seemed like ages but then, in the blink of an eye, he was gone. Eric lowered the window and as they heard the faintest ‘plumpf’ Barbara opened the tinfoil package in front of her and passed it to him, “Egg sandwich?” she said.

    I had to laugh, it’s so British. And I’ve holidayed in a caravan – those windows are remarkably similar to the shape of an old fashioned tv. #justsaying

    Yours is an interesting angle on what appears to be a suicide — the initial reaction of a stranger. A very strong stomach, this woman has. I hope she knows that her companion does, too, or she may have some cleaning to do.
