Dear So and So...

Dear Every Single God Damn Driving School in Colchester,

I know everyone has the right to learn to drive. I know that I was once a learner driver. I know that people need to practise 3 point turns. I know that they need to practise reversing round corners. I know that they get nervous and take even longer when they are aware that people are waiting.

Do they need to do all those things outside MY house?

At school run time.

Every f****ing day?!

Patience, Colchester

Is your road *that* good. Well I’ll be straight on to Brian at Planet Fairy, its always hard converting to a car after a broom or a light bulb. And those 3 point turns, well actually parallel parking if I’m completely honest are just so “human” we need lots and lots of practice, in the right sort of place.

If your road is the road of choice by all Colchester Driving schools, we too need to share in this best practise. And perhaps its the phase of the sun or position of the moon at the school run time which makes it so important to do it then. We’ll take note and turn up at the suggested time. VG MrsLJHall.

Of course, maybe your answer is to park your car around the corner, then we won’t get in your way and you won’t get in ours. Hows that for a solution?

Alternatively, and to help us avoid the crowds, hang a piece of mistletoe from their favourite lamppost, run out in your night gown, and throw yourself at the car and kiss the windscreen a few times when they next manoeuvre under it. They may decide its best to avoid the street with the kissing nutter in it. Leaving it clear for us fairy folk.

(sorry couldn’t resist & I realise it’s not helpful, at least its school holidays for a while). xx

It is ‘that’ good my road, it’s ace! It is a very wide road which I guess is why it appeals for 3 point turns!

I think I would possibly get arrested if I threw myself at a car and kissed the windscreen during some poor souls lesson – that’d put them off driving for life!

So I’ll see you at school run time then, doing your 3 point turns and reversing round corners on my magic road xxx

I always wonder this when practising ‘turns in the road’…poor people whose cars are subjected to parellel parking. Especially in test areas! I’m a learner and I feel really sorry for you. I always seem to practise turns and reversing around the same bloody cars!
Ok I know that doesn’t make a lot of sense but it’s 1.2oam and I don’t want to do a driving lesson in the snow tomorrow!
And is that snow falling from your blog? Lovely!!

Yay someone noticed the snow! I love the snow, am overly excited about it. I wasn’t moaning at learner drivers, just think the instructors could pick different spots now and then! Good luck with your lessons x

My sympathies!!! We just have idiots who park on the double yellows outside the school to deal with. Idiots!

They’re only driving past in the hope that they’ll see you 😉

Lol, not so much! But they do park across my drive meaning I have to wait behind them indicating *patiently*…….
