Nits

Just a quickie – lots of people tweeting about nits at the moment so I wanted to share with you a method I discovered when my children were plagued with the little blighters.

I’d tried all the conventional methods and, to be honest, it was only once the itchy little sods landed on my head that I discovered the solution.

Very slowly, very patiently and in tiny sections I GHD’d my hair. No sign of nits afterwards and no ‘hatching’ either as I guess the heat killed off the whole lot!

I then very carefully GHD’d my childrens’ hair and the nits were gone :)

It does work – but do be careful if your child is fidgety as GHDs get incredibly hot!

What does GHD mean? Sorry…bit thick!

You my curly haired friend are unaware of GHDs? It stands for Good Hair Days and is a brand name for ceramic straighteners – any decent pair should do it though as I would assume it’s the sheer heat that does the trick x

Unfortunately, I think my hair is too short for straighteners…

Wow, how interesting! And I’ve certainly heard of GHDs but I never knew it stood for Good Hair Days! Must admit, I don’t possess a pair – bad hair days all too frequent round here! :)

Wow I never knew that. If nits ever pay my household a visit I’m gonna get the Cloud 9’s out!

Wow what a fab idea! If nits ever decide to visit my household I’ll be getting the Cloud 9’s out.

Ooohh, you should patent this!! Nits are evil little gits.

I tried normal straighteners and didn’t work on my daughters, so think a decent brand would be better. These used to be the bain of my life, I would get rid of them and then next minute they would be back.
